     With an eye towards preventing work-site injuries Carolyn developed Industrial Movement Solutions; a program that provides hands-on educational services for organizations concerned with the safety and efficiency of their active employees. 

     Carolyn will visit your work space to perform an on-site needs analysis of physical job requirements and employee movement patterns.  She will return to your facility to present an hour-long workshop in which the following topics will be covered:

 

• Principles of physics and biomechanics specifically tailored to the needs of your employees
• Visual demonstrations of common movement flaws and how to perform them correctly
• Group activities using tactile & experiential learning techniques to help reinforce concepts introduced during the lecture

 

     In addition, follow-up visits can be arranged to ensure that employees are implementing proper lifting techniques and to reinforce critical movement habits, like “neutral spine” and “safe rotation.”
